With over 18 years of experience in the music industry, Anthony specializes in collaborating with companies to help them discover their sound and musical reflection through music strategy & curation. Anthony has worked with artists such as John Legend, The Black Eyed Peas, Natasha Bedingfield, Childish Gambino and Quadron to name a few. Anthony is currently overseeing HumbleRIOT and teaming up with brands such as Casio, Heineken and Samsung to develop music content and programming. We discussed Ant’s most transformative experiences in the music industry and in meditation, how to create safe spaces for authenticity and connection, and how to balance self-care with building a successful business.

    Jesse Israel, founder of Medi Club, The Big Quiet and Cantora, the record label for MGMT

    Jesse is the founder of the record label and tech fund Cantora, where he worked with major artists like MGMT. After nine years of building Cantora, he left and started a series of meditation meetups called Medi Club and massive gatherings in NYC called The Big Quiet. The last one attracted several thousand people. Jesse and I chatted about establishing a regular meditation practice by starting with 3 minutes a day, the differences between meditating alone and in community, and how meditation helped him to gain clarity about his true self and purpose.

    Sophia is the cofounder and CEO of HelloGiggles, a positive online community for women (although men are always welcome!) covering news, culture, entertainment, beauty, fashion, and more. She was previously a producer on the tv shows Glee and The Hills. She’s also the author of a book called A Tale of Two Besties. We met up at her lovely LA apartment and talked about her experience with Transcendental Meditation and other visualization-based styles of meditation that she recently started practicing, how to approach stress and anxiety with compassion, and the role of mentors.
