Jason is the co-founder and CEO of the terrific MindBodyGreen, a lifestyle media brand whose mission is to revitalize the way people eat, move, and live. He's also the author of the book Wellth, a memoir in which he shows us all how to build a life, not a resume, and why it's important to make frequent deposits into our own 'wellth' accounts. I highly recommend his book. I sat down with Jason in his bright, lovely Brooklyn office to chat about why he makes time to meditate, what it really means to meditate, and how it affects his work as an entrepreneur.
If you’re interested in learning Vedic meditation and sampling some of the other styles of mindfulness that Jason and I chat about, you can find a course on MindBodyGreen that teaches you six styles for meditation for $99. A typical Vedic or TM course can cost hundreds of dollars, so this is a cost effective option for learning these styles from Charles Knowles, one of Jason's teachers. The class is available at www.MindBodyGreen.com/classes.
